Why Giving Matters

Generosity is more than a financial decision; it’s a spiritual practice and a shared responsibility.

Jesus talked about money more than anything, not to raise funds but to raise hearts. He knew how we handle our resources would reveal what we value, trust, and worship.

At Madison Church, we believe generosity is essential to following Jesus. It’s personal, transformational, and not optional.

But giving isn’t just about your faith; it’s about our future. This is how we, together, sustain the mission we believe in. It pays the rent, funds our kids and student ministries, supports staff, and powers Sunday gatherings and our digital presence.

In a world that teaches us to hold tight, giving is how we let go and build something lasting.

Ways to Give

It takes resources to do what we do—gather, serve, care, and grow. If you’re ready to give, here are the ways you can do it:

Online

One-time or recurring via debit/credit or bank transfer.

In Person

Drop cash or checks in the giving box on Sundays.

Mail

Send checks to:

Madison Church
1904 Winnebago Street
Madison, WI 53704

Non-Cash Gifts

Reach out if you’d like to give stock, crypto, or other assets.

New to giving? Whether it’s a one-time gift or a first step toward recurring generosity, every act of giving makes a difference.

Beyond the Budget

Your generosity today shapes the future of our ministry. These are the needs we’re stepping into with faith and intention.

We believe financial transparency is part of spiritual integrity. To keep you informed, we prepare an annual budget, follow secure giving policies, and send quarterly giving statements.

Every dollar given goes directly to funding Madison Church’s mission and ministry, which impact hundreds of lives each week.

What we’re doing now reflects what we currently have funding for, but there’s more ahead. As resources grow, so will our reach. Here’s where we’re headed next.

Immediate Needs

Fueling Ministry for Today

We’re raising $10,000 to meet two critical needs: launching a Church Online platform and hiring a part-time KidMin Director. These investments will expand our reach beyond the building and deepen our care for the next generation, two vital steps in living out our mission.

Future Musts

Laying the Foundation for Tomorrow

To lead well in every season, we must build a long-term financial reserve that protects and sustains the mission. Our goal is to set aside $40,000 in reserves, which will give us the margin to weather unexpected challenges and make wise, faith-filled decisions with confidence.

Aspirational Goal

Dreaming Beyond the Moment

Our long-term dream is to secure and sustain a permanent facility—a space that’s not only a home for Madison Church but also a hub for community connection, care, and impact. This vision will take time, prayer, and generous partnership, but we believe it’s possible and worth building toward together. We imagine a place where kids feel safe, neighbors feel seen, and people encounter the love of Jesus seven days a week.

What Giving Makes Possible

It’s not just a place to go on Sundays, it’s a place where l’ve found friends, family, and purpose. I’ve had the chance to serve, to belong, and to just be myself, and still be fully loved.

Pamela Dominguez

The kindness and the welcoming of this church is by far above and beyond what l’ve experienced at most other churches.

Samuel Myers

Myself and many others that have joined us at MC are experiencing healing from past church experiences we had and experiencing safety in our journeys of discovering deeper relationships with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
