What To Expect

When You Visit Madison Church
1

Transit & Parking

We encourage carpooling, walking, biking, or taking public transit or ride-share when it’s possible. If you do drive, there are two parking lots owned by Trinity Lutheran Church that are free to park in.

2

Enter on Atwood Ave

It’s a big building, but you’ll find us quite easily if you enter from Atwood Ave. You’ll see our bright, lime green flags and other signs outside the building.

3

Babies, Children, & Students

We offer a variety of programming for your family. All MC KidMin and Student Ministries volunteers have to go through a screening process which includes a national background check to serve.

4

Prayer & Reflection

We open and close our gatherings with live music. This helps us slow down and lean in so that we can hear what God is saying to us.

5

The Message

Our 30-minute talks cover the topics of faith, Jesus, God, the Bible, and spirituality.

6

60 Minutes

Our gatherings are only an hour long. That leaves you with enough time to hangout with others afterwards, or grab some lunch on your way home before the big game.

Belong | Believe | Become

NextGen Ministries at Madison Church

NextGen Ministries is designed for children and teens, from birth to graduation, to help them grow into resilient disciples of Jesus. Through a nurturing environment, dynamic teaching, and engaging experiences, we guide each child to belong to God’s family, believe in his truth, and become who they are called to be.

Nursery

Birth - 2

Our top priorities are your child’s safety and well-being. We care for infants and toddlers in a clean, secure, and nurturing environment. Our nursery is cleaned thoroughly each week to ensure a healthy space for the children.

All of our volunteers undergo a nationwide background check. They are trained with experience in childcare, ensuring the best care possible. We also have a secure check-in and check-out system to guarantee that every child leaves with the proper guardian.

Our nursery is designed to engage your child’s curiosity and senses with age-appropriate toys and activities. Above all, we want each child to know they are safe, cared for, and loved while in our care. Our volunteers are always available before and after our time together to chat with parents, answer questions, and provide any updates about your child’s experience.

We understand the importance of communication. We are committed to ensuring that parents feel connected and confident while their children are with us. Should we need to reach you during the gathering, we use a simple text system to keep you informed.

Early Childhood

Ages 2 - 5

Our Early Childhood program at Madison Church is about introducing young children to Jesus in a way that captivates their hearts and minds. Designed for kids from ages 2 through kindergarten, each week is a joyful adventure where children explore key Bible stories through engaging activities encouraging wonder and discovery.

In every session, children actively participate in small group interactions that feature dynamic storytelling, sing-alongs, and hands-on learning. Each lesson focuses on a memorable Bible verse and a simple yet powerful spiritual truth that they can apply to their lives even at a young age. From playful moments to quiet reflection, every part of the experience is designed to foster a growing relationship with God.

We believe that faith development doesn’t stop at the church doors. That’s why we partner with parents by offering take-home resources so they can reinforce the day’s lesson throughout the week. We aim to create a seamless connection between what kids learn at church and what they live at home, helping each child take steps in their lifelong faith journey.

Elementary

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

At Madison Church, our Elementary program is designed to help Kindergarten through 5th-grade children grow into resilient disciples of Jesus. Each session combines engaging Bible stories, interactive activities, and meaningful discussions, bringing Scripture to life for young hearts and minds.

We focus on helping every child feel like they belong, creating a welcoming environment where they are valued and loved as part of God’s family. Building solid relationships ensures every child knows they are seen and cared for in our community.

Through vibrant Bible teaching, children explore Scripture, memorize key verses, and encounter God personally. The lessons are designed to inform and inspire a deep and personal faith in Jesus.

Our goal is to equip children with the tools they need to confidently live out their faith. Whether in school, friendships, or at home, we help them apply what they’ve learned and follow Jesus daily. We also partner with parents, providing resources to continue these conversations at home, ensuring that spiritual growth extends beyond the church setting.
