Why Give Back?

Your contributions go directly to funding the mission and ministry initiatives of Madison Church, which impacts the lives of hundreds of people each week. Through your generosity, you are taking responsibility with us in connecting people with God and each other.

How We Operate

We believe in financial transparency, and do all that we can to maintain the highest levels of integrity with the resources given to us:

  • We prepare an annual budget.
  • We’ve established policies for secure handling and counting of weekly contributions.
  • We send quarterly giving statements that show your year-to-date giving.
  • Additionally, Members of Madison Church receive a quarterly P&L.

All contributions go directly to funding the mission and ministry initiatives of Madison Church, which impacts the lives of hundreds of people each week.

About #JusticeDeposits

An investment in justice.

Madison Church keeps 5-10% of our cash holdings in Wisconsin’s only Black-owned financial institution, Colombia Loan & Savings Association in Milwaukee.

  • African Americans face mortgage denial rates that are twice as high and pay more for their mortgages than white Americans.
  • 67% of loans from Black-owned financial banks go to African American households vs. the average of 1% of loans from all other banks.
  • By increasing the capital available in Black-owned financial institutions, we can increase the availability of mortgages for Black families and loans for Black businesses.

#JusticeDeposits is an initiative of several churches in our network that has been been featured in an article by the Harvard Business Review.
